LUKA MLINARIĆ, ATTORNEY-AT-LAW

Luka Mlinarić was born in 1993 in Zagreb. After graduating from the General Grammar School, he enrolled in law studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, in 2012. During his studies, he showed a particular interest in civil procedural law, constitutional law, family law, international law, and corporate law. He graduated in 2020 with a thesis titled: "Constitutional Right to Civil Initiative as a Means of Direct Democracy - an Institute in Development or Empty Words on Paper?"

Throughout his studies, he participated in the Human Rights Moot Court Competition organized by the Council of Europe and ELSA, representing the Zagreb Faculty of Law at the final competition in Strasbourg. There, he won the second place in the category of written submissions and the ninth place overall out of 106 registered teams. For this achievement, he received a special Dean's Award for outstanding performance in 2015.

Since 2020, Luka has been employed as an attorney’s trainee at the Law firm Karlo Novosel. In December 2023, he took the lawyer's oath before the Croatian Bar Association..
